On the Gobi desert oilfield, drilling rigs roar. Xinjiang Kunlun Petroleum Group’s drilling, fracturing and mud logging crews seized the golden window for oil and gas production, carrying out simultaneous multi-site operations and efficiently completing a batch of directional and horizontal well projects, fully supporting reserve and production growth in the oil and gas fields.
With practical experience from over 1,600 directional and horizontal wells, the Group’s technical teams conduct advance geological analysis and optimize trajectory designs for deep, complex formations. On-site technicians stationed at the wells strictly enforce three checkpoints: construction procedures, safety control and quality acceptance. Equipment such as 200,000 hydraulic horsepower fracturing units and LWD/MWD while-drilling guidance systems ensures downhole operation precision.
Overcoming Gobi heat and extreme day-night temperature differences, the crews coordinated equipment maintenance, personnel rotation and logistics support, ensuring parallel construction across multiple wellsites. Annual mud logging footage approaches 200,000 meters, with cementing, reservoir stimulation and workover businesses advancing steadily.
Kunlun Petroleum Group stated that it will continue to uphold its safe production bottom line, leverage the scale advantages of its teams and equipment, and serve major oilfields’ exploration and development with first-class engineering quality.
